What are Arboloom cups made of?
Each cup is crafted from certified birch wood veneer and coated with a thin bio-based plastic alternative (from renewable straw). No glues or fossil plastics are used.

What happens to the cups after use?
Arboloom cups can be composted, recycled, or burned for energy. We offer a recycling program and work with partners for energy recovery. See our End-of-Life Guide for details.

Are these cups truly compostable?
Yes. They meet EU industrial composting standards. The wood and bio-coating break down naturally in compost facilities.

Can I print my logo on the cups?
Absolutely. We use food-approved inks to print logos (standard ink color is black; color printing available on request). Branding does not affect compostability or safety.

Are they safe for hot beverages?
Yes – rigorously tested and approved for hot and cold drinks. The cups have passed EU food-safety and chemical tests (no PFAS or toxins detected).
